smash Poo, just deleted my race report. Wasn't going to do this one but turned up and beat my nemesis and PBed!

Sweetie I set off at a good pace and was bang on target doing the first mile in 8:37. From then on it rapidly went down hill (me not the course!), my legs felt like lead, my calf started to cramp and I just felt overwhelmingly weary. I was like one of those clockwork wind up toys, when you set them off they are going well and then they gradually get slower and slower..... second mile 9.00, then 9.26, 9.46 and try as I might to dig in for the last mile my legs just refused and my last mile was 10.43!!! So I eventually finished in 47:32 and rather baffled as to what went wrong there! Ah well back to the drawing board!! REALLY sorry to all those who bet on me!
