bevunit A PB hurrah! Mostly flat course, nice sunny day though a little windy. Really pleased with my pacing all the way round. Plan was to keep close to 8:30 all the way. Managed this ok with the help of my 305 and speeded up when I saw the 5m marker and tried to hold on as well as possible. Definitely think I could go faster.

Moonraker Started near back and paced well. Gradually picked off people. No one passed me all race. Pushed for finish line over last half mile. Wished I'd worn my race vest not my grey winter training zip top

Simons Dad A good course and I have previously broken my PB on it, so hoping for more of the same!Smashed my PB by 75 seconds - absolutely brilliant. Set out with the intention of running 42.30, and had even written the required split times on my hand. in the end, I actually ran 38 seconds faster than 42.30, so I'm chuffed to bits. It was a really sunny day, although a bit windy, but temperature was good. Second time I've broken my PB on this course!!!
