Middler Much better than last year - 13mins better to be precise so I have achieved one of my goals for this year - to do this in 2:10!

Loads of water/sponge stations which was great in the humidity. Views just as lovely as I remember them, hills still as viscious.

blimeythatsbendy tremendous but brutal race, this. the climbs are vicious but the organisation is spot on, there's plenty of support and water stops and the fniish through to the village square is in the tour de france style. As are the hills - the second is the steepest road i've ever climbed but the views are as spectacular as promised.

hugely enjoyable all considered
