Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Capricorn Garmin battery ran flat at 30 miles - 6:12 ! Total distance about 35miles. Coast path from Plymouth to Salcombe - very tough and very hilly. The three river crossings took longer than I thought - with the changing, swimming, changing back into running kit - and with a strong outgoing tide the swimming wasn't easy ! Winner did 5:55 which gives an indication of how tough it was. Still most enjoyable and fantastic organisation - down to the canoists on hand to rescue anyone swept away in the current :-) Dog tag with race details as medal and nice fitted t-shirts for ladies :-)

LukeStur Great race - an absolute epic. Had bad cramps at about half way point which I overcame by consuming copious ammounts of rock salt. Had a great finish, overtaking 11 people in the final section to come in 3rd place.
