Columba No rain, not too much wind, temperature about right. I was last all the way from start to finish, but probably the oldest running so not too distressed about that. Had hoped to do it in 2 hours, and was on target by mile 5 but couldn't quite keep the pace going even though the worst of the hills are in the first half. A beautiful place to run on a day like this, - rolling hills fading mistily into the distance, autumn leaves golden and russet, a little stream tumbling along beside the road. Well marshalled, well organised, 2 drinks stations.
