Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Vic Mason This was a tough XC race in pretty much ideal weather conditions apart from the slight headwind near the summit. I thought I started off at a reasonable pace but felt completely gubbed by the time I reached the trig point. The narrow descent wasn’t ideal for overtaking but good for a rest bite. Not only did you have the joy of going round the Braids once, the bu**ers sent you round for a second time just for good measure. Next year I’m going to put on a wig and call myself Sheila, one lap was brutal enough! Finishing position 65/203

Baza Having not run this before and with Gauldry cancelled I thought I'd give it a go. Hard course and narrow in places but good all the same. Enjoyed my run and was quicker on the secnod lap too

RichyC Garmin measured the course at 5.82m. Official time 40.00 (85th of 203). Still finding my feet at xc but this was the first time I can say I enjoyed it. Deliberately set off conservatively and paced the run better than previous xc attempts. Overall good tough workout.

Ribenaface (RFSQL) OK race, probably did the first lap a bit fast tbh. A bit frustrating in places try to squeeze past people but it's my own fault for setting of from right near the back :-) .

EDIT... hang on, there some mistake here, they've given me someone else's results I think. My race NUMBER (rather than my name) clocks at 41.04 which seems more likely (plus the right club vests are in front of me with those results). Well, they are provisional results I suppose.

EDIT... results updated by the Haries - 41.04 is right.
