Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

biru A fine race on a fine day! Yet another P.B...they just keep on coming! There was one wee mishap near the start of the race....most of the runners near the front of the pack missed a turning, and had to make a quick u-turn a few seconds later when someone shouted

Enigma Looking forward to this, I think I should be able to do a PB here (weather permitting). Never run this course before so we'll see what happens. UPDATE: Wey hey another PB. Great race, I really enjoyed it. Got a medal, Creme Egg and a can of Belhaven Best, lovely, you can keep your nutrition bars, this is what you need at the end of a race. I didn't see the Km markers until 5Km (unofficial 5K PB b.t.w.) so didn't really know how well I was doing until the halfway point. I thought I was going fast but didn't know if it was good fast or suicidal fast that I'd end up paying for later. Very pleased with my time. A brilliant day for Carnegie Harriers, picking up 1st Female, Female Team and Mens Team prizes! A great day and well done to the organisers, runners and especially all my club mates.

Plussing As Which Hopefully the trend of ever decreasing times will continue... Yippee!!! Can't really say much more than that! What a great race: PB; beautiful weather; medal, creme egg and can of beer for all finishers. Many thanks to the organisers for making it such a great race.
