paskha My 6th DUCHY (local marathon) It was only when fetcheveryone said I'd done 21 marathons that I checked my Race Portfolio - and I'd missed out 2 of them in 2004, I've now put it right (4.9.06) At this point in time I have done 23 actual 26.2 mile marathons, plus 8 Ultra marathons = 31 Total..... How could I miss out this one????? ..... the weather was incredible - there was a severe westerly gale blowing, where we could hardly run on the 4 mile stretch of North coast - on the second lap it was even worse!!!!! very energy sapping, I met someone who was walking to the finish due to a knee problem, and walked with him for 5 miles, making a bit of effort to jog the last mile or so!
