About this parkrun
Tarmac paths; one lap then an out and back, then half a lap; flat (18m elevation gain) but save something for the final 200m uphill!Sigh 2nd Jan 2019
Many variations on the short and long lap theme on tarmac over the years. Busy course, lots of fast runners. Fairly flat and a quick course despite the sprint at the end. Free parking stopped a while ago which is a shame.

Fairly flat tarmac course (apart from uphill section at the finish). Multi-lap course with an out and back section too. Parking nearby, P&D.
Chingwakabungya 28th Jan 2019
Fast tarmac course with some tight turns. Downhill start, then mostly flat apart from the gentle climb back to the start and the steepish hill at very end. Potential for congestion due to numbers. Parking costs (cash or phone).

Cafes for an after run coffee & cake. Loos near the start - cold but clean. Tarmac but through pretty gardens. Fairly flat but a short steep climb at the end. Busy & a narrow out and back section can slow you down as overtaking can be difficult.

Great course and well organised given the numbers attending
SH_UK 25th Mar 2019
Two non-identical loops, fast but very busy run, cheeky uphill to finish. Pretty park so worth a look afterwards. Paid parking close by and cafe too. Well organised, given the numbers and friendly too.
30th May 2019
uninspiring run round a park with a dirty pond in the middle, easily accessible by train then bus flat & fast for those racing.
Foxy 1st Jun 2019
Route varies but the parkrun is entirely on paths, slightly undulating, through the pleasant Cannon Hill park with its gardens and lake and alongside the River Rea. Bus 1, 35, 45, 47, 61, 63. Post-run coffees at the café or at Midland Arts Centre.

All tarmac, complex course, easy to get lost. Could maybe do more signage and/or marshals. Also sections of contra flow with the possibility for conflict as slower runners rubbing towards faster runners. Nice park, but sadly didn't love the parkrun
Andy ClawS Is Coming To Town 12th Mar 2022
Pretty much all covered below., averaging over 700 runners atm. Not a great one for dogs or buggies due to the congestion and some tight contra-flow sections.
