Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Pegg A beautiful morning and a beautiful setting. I went off way too fast and on the first hill my calves reminded me that I had run a half marathon last week...didn't really settle into a rythmn at all. Once I had decided there was no way I was going to get a pb I seemed to lose all my energy and instead finished with a brand new 10km pw! Still enjoyed it though - it's one of my favourite runs and remains so. I'll just have to give it another go next year!

philbo Not a course for breaking records really , on/off road sort of cross country enjoyable though, i will be taking it steady .**UPDATE** Time was about what i was expecting , ran a good 1st 5k the 2nd 5k is where most of the climbs are struggled a bit on them, achilles giving me some stick heart rate well up too ( after effects of a cold )on the plus side , 1st outing for my off road shoes well impressed with them , bit silly really racing in brand new pair of shoes but didn't even know i had them on , very comfy and good traction (inov8 flyroc 310 ), a good race and well organized enjoyed it.

TooLilac Felt so ruff the week before and wanted to drop out on the morning of the race. Beautiful clear sunny day and gorgeous scenery. Brill start, first three km running sub-6min kilometers. All went a bit pants in the middle, but managed to rally for 3 lovely steep hills in the last half. Got a PB of 59m 30s - amazed that I finally got sub-60 10km.Dead chuffed...
