APC More bl**dy hills, what do you expect in Buxton I heard someone say. A hot Hilly day, the only things missing were most mile markers and the advertised t-shirt for the first 200 finishers. Confused by the 'preliminary' results whiuch have phantom runners creeping in to finish before me that weren't there, and by the timings. Sorry you are right (below) the Crowds at the end were fantastic, thankyou Buxton.

Fat Man Runs Had a chance to reccy this one yesterday - it's a tough old course with a huge hill at the start. The upside is overall there must be twice as much down as up. Not expecting anything like a pb though given my current form. I was right about not expecting a pb (those hills) but that aside everything went really well. It really is a lovely course, and what made it for me were the crowd. The carnival had drew everyone outside and having my name on my vest made everyone seem to shout - it really did feel like a mini London in the last few hundred yards - special!
