Colinzealuk As expected, no PB, but still worse than expected due to knee playing up from 7.5 miles onwards. Not a bad time considering that and lack of training in recent times.

GD A bit of a last-minute decision, this - woke up without a hangover this morning, and with no plans until the England game at 4pm thought why not? Was maybe a bit optimistic thinking I could go sub-1:40 - haven't got close this year so far (went under 8 times last year - must try to lose the extra half stone or more from Xmas some time!!) Nice course - a bit warm for my liking, but could have been worse. A nice breeze the last few miles really helped. Even happier now that I chose not to do St Albans a couple of weeks ago - must have been hell in the heat that day!
