Gobi Great Race with a brilliant atmosphere. Hilly and offroad with great views. Lead the race from the first mile and ran steadily until the climbs between 10-12 where I meandered. Turned first and had a 5 min lead, kept the pace steady as I headed back. Tired hip flexors in the last 4 miles so walked and jogged home for a 15 min win and a course record by 22 mins. Brilliant Cannock & Stafford AC 3:29:58 3:32:20 3:38:00 69.48
