garfieldhouse Don't think I'm going to hit the stars on this race, but don't think I'll be too slow either. Update Monday 18 May 2009: Ahem, I'm very sorry for putting people off betting as I smashed my PB! The race was rather wet from the start to the finish, but I managed to keep a good pace for the first 4-5 km. Afterwards, I expected I would slow down to around 46-47 min 10k pace, but actually I managed to keep the pace on the old railway track OK and by the last few hundred metres, I knew a PB was in sight! Smashed by 39 seconds too! Good race overall, congratulations to the organisers!
