PinkSparkie Garmin says it wasn't quite 5k so even though PB on finish time, technically it was actually slower as less than 5k. It was a lap course, so for 210k and the announcer said it was 10.1km long so conflict between him and my garmin but never mind. Enjoyable scenery, nice course, got overtaken by the BHF Heart - which was a bit downheartening and also by some kids about 6 years old, so made sure i overtook them again - that would have been really embarrassing!! Think I was running near another Fetchie at the end - but need to check.... Really badly organised race as you drive out along the running course towards people who are STILL running which as quite a few people only did the 5k was quite a lot of cars trying to negotiate around those doing the second lap for the 10k. As we ran through the finsih line, we changed our minds and wished we had gone again for the 10 :( Ooops - bit late to think of that idea! No clock or timer anywhere - really is just a charity jog!! Fun though :)
