Highlanderchick I don't think there will be a PB on this one. But looking forward to the weekend away. As predicted no PB. I had checked a couple of different websites for the weather and they said 30% showers on sunday for the race. Huh! not a spot of rain was felt it was 26 deg Hot and sunny. This was my first race abroad, a new experience, great organisation, fab t-shirt and lovley momento. As for the course - long routes along the sea front and through the streets, some short sharp inclines and a long steady hill at 10 miles. Then about a 100 meter dash up a steep slope to the finish line. My official time was 02:00:04 and Garmin time was 01:59:57. There was fantastic support all along the route, but especially on the seafront. The trip was organised by WWW.RUNNINGCRAZY.CO.UK a great bunch of guys and girls who take care of the logistics of the trip for you, ensure your stay is just right, that you have a enjoyable time and are a great support for your entire trip. They are out on the race course taking photos and they are at the finish for that final photo after you cross the finish line. Also you can then let your hair down at the post race party where they show a slide show of all the photos taken during the day. I had an enjoyable weekend and I Just might do a few more races abroad.
