bedlam_g My recent lack of speedwork means a PB here is highly unlikely. Anything under 20 mins will be a really good performance. Update - Watch Time - Really wasn't expecting this went for a stupidly fast start and clung on to the pace like a dog to its favourite stick, expected to blow up at any moment but for some reason I didn’t.

ClaireT I was hoping for at least a teeny weeny PB and did manage to shave off a few seconds, hooray! Was a nice warm day for it, with a few silly puddles left over from yesterdays monsoon. 4th lady overall, happy days. Well done to bedlam-g for his sub-19!

Dave_K Will try to pb here if the course is flat! Would love to break 23 mins. 3rd 5km this week. UPDATE: a new PB and under 23 mins. Really pleased with the run. Great race, well organised and marshalled. Great goodie bag and nice bite to eat afterwards.

ian9657 A really well organised race, with a great turnout, a good medal and goody bag, some excellent times and some excellent post race food. What more could a runner want ..... well a PB would be nice too...... oh I actually got one taking 25 secs off my previous best :-)

jp105 Came through with my mum who has recently started running and started from quite far back in the field. Built into the race and was quite pleased with the result. Very quick course. Hopefully be back to full fitness for the Glasgow half.

pink princess very pleased with the time today! only had a couple of hours sleep before the run but still managed a sprint finish at the end! great goodie bag, medal and munchies after the run, had a nice sleep in the car on the way home :)

rleyton Wow, very pleased with that. Had hoped to match the 25min training 5k result, but to get sub 24min was a real plus. Very happy. Good event, and a good turnout. Only minor problem were the large puddles along the way, but didn't really cause that much hassle, to me anyway :-)

Rombo Watch time was 18:45. Started right a back and took a km or so to move through slower runners. Very pleased with this considering illness and injury had restricted my running in the last 2 weeks. First 5k I have ever did and really enjoyed a shorter race. Does not get much easier either when you only live a mile or so away from the race.

senga the trolly dolly Felt not too bad at the start, but got stung on the thigh by a wasp just after 1st k. Only the thought of a slap up meal if I broke my PB kept me going.

Supervixen Hoping to PB here, third time running 5k this week. But bet at your peril!!!! Update: was clubing until 3am this morning so didnt expect too much, but PB in the bag, surprised but pleased wit the PB..need to work on race preperation!

The Belly Is Gaun Tae Get Ye Will try to go sub 20 providing hamstrings can standup to speedwork. Just could not get under 20. Poor 2nd K let me down and got boxed in at start. However collect your points a whole 1 second off. Well done to all those with PB'S
