daviec Very tough race as expected. First lap was fairly fast and from there it was just a case of holding on as the legs got more and more tired. Course was 6 miles rather than 9k. Very pleased with my time having a look at what the other lads in the team were managing. Silver team award behind a strong Irvine team in first and a good Killie team taking third. :)

Sunbed Athlete Ran for 2nd claim club Girvan AAC. Took 3rd place which got me bronze medal & helped team to silver with the help of RosscoB,DavieC & new boy Adam Anderson.Found it very tough going.The hardest xc course around.Very strong wind also which disturbed your style.Was in 2nd just after start of 2nd lap but young lad fought back & by 3rd lap was sitting on my shoulder right until 50mts from the line where he attacked but I had nothing left in the tank to go with him.Tactically he ran well but its a bugger when that happens.

wil e coyote Excellent, tough, old fashioned XC course. Enjoyed it, be back again and again for this one.
