Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

hannkies Unhappy with this if I'm honest, again made the mistake of veering from my lap target ( 81 seconds ie a 16.52 5k ) at the start ( 74 seconds ) and again paid for it with a couple of laps around 8-11 nearing 90. Still, it's only my second ever track race and I'm convinced that by doing these on a semi regular basis, it MUST help in the long term. Finished 4th, getting pipped by a Clubmate for 3rd in the home straight - Lucky White Heather.

daviec Attended the meet as my son was competing, but took my gear just in case and by the time we got there I decided to enter the 5000m and see how it went. One week after the marathon, and my first time racing on a track so quite pleased with my time. Went off far too fast and after a few laps could feel the fatigue still in my legs from last week. Gives me something to beat next time out.

connelld Set off in race far too quickly. I was aiming for 88-90 per lap but did first in 78. Slowed down to 86 for a few laps before dropping to 89. However got a second wind and managed a new PB. Well chuffed.
