Missjanice i was so scared to do this race as i was not train to do fell run, i was so worried im gonna be the last ladies but 7th ladies is not bad at all. I will do this race again ... but would not accept a glass from tesco as a price lol

Nick the Geek Enjoyed the run, started near the back and stayed there throughout! Most of the race was on fairly hard-packed trails which left my feet a bit sore by the end, and I turned an ankle descending through the heather but it wasn't bad enough to slow me down (just as well or I'd have stopped completely!) Took a slight wrong turn and added a few hundred yards onto the route (uphill of course).

northernrunner started off good in 5th position and by about 6 or 7k got into 4th place and by about 9k was in 3rd place but at about 14k took a wrong turn and went the wrong way so ended up doing 19.5k instead of the 16k race and instead of finishing in 3rd was about 38th. 2 other people made the same mistake.
