BigChiefRunningBore cracking and merifully short race, You wouldn't believe Watford could be so pretty (and muddy). Must be 3-4 mins faster than last year. Update Was 10th. ha! Had good run in spikes. Went off too fast trying to catch Trigger, then struggled to keep ahead of the ladies, failing in the last 1 or so. woods were great as usual. Won team prize for 2nd year in a row.

Little Linz Not sure what to expect with this one.....but have been warned about the hills. Gulp. After the race: hills weren't as bad as I had been led to believe! Great race, lovely course, really pleased with my first XC outing.

Muds Update. Started at the back. Stopped to reposition 2mile marker. Coasted home. OOooops 2secs outside. Probably the only race for a number of years I hadn't started my watch!! 34:14 I think. Ah well be a long time before I appear worth a bet!! A fantastic day. Watford Joggers put on a great little event.

oceanspirit An excellent race. If it hadn't been for the hills I think I may have beat the time I had during my 8K race. Lovely scenery through the woods. It was really nice to have food available after the race and cups of tea to warm up with.
