Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Gibster Athens Classic Marathon - what an experience to run this race 2,500 years after the battle of marathon. The race started well, ran around the burial sight of the soldiers, and then we accended the hill 16 miles[Radcliiffe Hill] - like Saddleworth Road, Stainland 7 !!! walked and cramped, the finish was amazing the 1896 Olympic Stadium! Great holiday followed in Athens.

Prof Disco Dean very pleased with time, ran the first 30k with Tristan (run like crazy) then had to let him go! did superb splits 1.40/1.41 on quite a tough course with 21c max temp, with great support through out and a incredible finish! this one was for my aunt who sadly past away 10 days prior!!

tipsku My first marathon ever and quite a difficult one. First 10k quite congested, started overtaking the previous wave at 2km, the next one at 4 km. Faster 5k and 10k times than I thought I would be able to clock in a marathon. HM in 2:10, ascent from km 18-31 pretty tough but doable. Final 11km downhill, thighs burned like hell at km 38. I'm definitely not made for running downhill. Still managed to run across the finish line earlier than I thought I would. Absolutely incredible feeling when entering the Olympic Stadium. I'd recommend this run to every runner, a must-do!
