EyeSpy21 First 10 mile race. Have had a sore foot and cut down training for 2 weeks. Ran it anyway and foot was great. Could have sat down in the road at 8 miles though, the 60 yr old I was following pulled away from me at that stage. Took a terrible stitch with 500m to go which brought me to a standstill and b*ggered up my sprint finish. Still, a reasonable time with interrupted training. What a great day - driving to the seaside and catching the ferry and running round the island followed by burger and ice-cream in the Ritz cafe!

Gokeith good run started off at slower pace then gradually increased,ran negative splits, well chuffed(this race is actually 10.2miles)
