TecT: Could it be the chest strap sensors not picking up the correct signal until you begin to sweat? Do you wet them first? -

Vicksta: Agree with Ted. I have seen a similar profile for myself. Wet or spit on the contacts before putting it on, should sort it out! -

leyburnrunner: happens to me too. can be down to the strap slipping slightly. today i was up to 180 bpm after 0.5 mile but i moved the sensor around and straight away the bpm reduced to a more realistic level.
