Wildflower, Blossom and Fungi Photographs

Similarly the bloody Spanish bluebells that have proliferated through my garden (I've kept some in a trough and am slowly trying to eradicate the rest by pulling out the plants when they sprout - eventually I hope this will kill the bulbs as they keep multiplying).
Hanneke Apr 2021 8:59am, 26 Apr 2021 72,556 posts	0 Hanneke Spanish bluebells are total thugs. Impossible to get rid of! I have two clumps from previous owner and I just pick off the flowers before they open, so they cannot be cross pollinated with wild ones.

Hanneke Apr 2021 9:53am, 26 Apr 2021 72,558 posts	0 Hanneke Very difficult! In theory, by cutting off the foliage as it emerges, you starve the bulbs but it doesn't seem to work for Spanish bluebells. Leaves contain too much water for a weed burner I,d say.
