Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'm unsophisticated enough to wish that Pringles and Bisto had gone through. I'm finding it very hard to choose between Marmite and crumpets, I am indifferent to both. Why would I have a crumpet when I can have toast or a bun, and why would I have Marmite on my toast when I could have marmalade or jam or peanut butter, or just butter?

At least our hypothetical vegan could last for a couple of weeks on what’s left before they succumbed to scurvy.

Reading the junk food and condiments list made me favour stuff that is made from scratch but those sausages would have been a good addition, I agree.

[soon after posting the above, I went to the bread bin and, ignoring the crumpets therein, had a hot cross bun with butter]
