The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

update target mileage

How do I update/change my target mileage? I must have once known how to set this, as I have a target mileage, but it is the one I had last year and I want to update it for this year. I cant figure out where I click to change it, all I can do is view mine, other peoples, etc.

Click on Train (Top header), on the right hand side there should be a black box called 'Your Annual Mileage Targets', if you have target's set, click the dustbin icon to the right (to cancel the existing target) - Then it gives you an option to 'set target' so you can insert a new target. :)

Thank you Craig, that worked.
I'd seen that dustbin icon before and assumed that would remove the running target completely, so I didn't even try and click on it!
