lammo: The aim is just to use swimming to get a different type of cardio training into the routine, particularly while I'm sorting out my dodgy achilles again and can't run, although I want to keep swimming a bit even when I do get back on the road. Absolutely no intention to compete either in swimming or triathlon at all.

But while I'm getting in the pool I want to be able to see "progress" whatever form that takes, and I want to keep my motivation up by working on doing it "right", or at least more "right" than I currently do, if that makes sense.

So on efficiency I've watched some stuff on YouTube and the current focus is to get my body rotation ingrained and feeling natural rather than it being something I need to focus on each stroke. Once I've got that I think the next step is going to be the "high elbow pull" thing that uses the whole forearm as the paddle but I'll get to that later. I can only really do one thing at a time!

Mine wasn't especially busy on Tuesday, possibly because there was a biblical flood and a hurricane going on at the time.

Morning flounders and flounderers! :)

I've just done my first 'hard' session on the wattbike since well over a year ago. Feeling pretty good, all things being equal :)

Disappointed to have to go to work now and not get home until 2300hrs.
