I did the English National XC championships in Chester the other week and recorded the whole race with my GoPro as a headcam. I was a bit frustrated with the footage as it was wonky and the camera was pointing up too much, but after a bit of editing the wonkiness has basically gone.
Here's one I published today. I managed to get out and record it when we had that snow a few weeks ago. It was a bit of a nightmare to film, firstly it was still snowing, so that kept landing on the lens and melting and second my batteries (all 3 of them) died before I finished the run. It was 0 degrees and GoPro batteries do not like the cold!
I published this one today and I've just finished editing another rapeseed-themed one recorded on Monday. The rapeseed in some places was up to my nose - I got covered in yellow!
I published this one yesterday. It's one of the most unique places I've run - it was 2 disused quarries, one of which was closed around 50 years ago, the other around 40 years ago, but is going to be reopened again soon.
