I was always disappointed as a kid when it was rice pudding for afters. These days I don't even bother with a sweet course unless it's a crumble or Christmas Pudding.

I like eels. Jellied are ok, smoked are better but the deep fried ones we had in Soho's China Town as part of a Seafood Banquet were exquisite.
