We used to go down the lane to pick it for our rabbits when we were children. My dad would pick the wild garlic to feed to our chickens.

A glorious day for a walk on Whitbarrow ( a limestone escarpment S Cumbria) I was looking for first early purple orchids but no sign today. Cowslips were abundant.
