Chrisity and runnyeyes, Those photos are lovely. The gorse is wonderful at present. I posted some photos on my recent blogs Today I tried to capture some of the more delicate flowers: Blackthorn and primroses, which are really abundant on the lower slopes of Newton Fell

finally some cowslips. I also saw some lovely Blackthorn Blossom but Canute has beaten me to it, and to be honest has a better picture.

A bit more subtle than the beautiful ornamental blossom varieties that have been posted, but the wild cherry against the blue sky is still a picture.
