Tucked away a 15 miler and found it a bit of a struggle. Motivation more than anything else.

Fizz on the other hand is bang on it. Last few laps coming up. Very proud of her achievement.

Go Fizz go. :)

No hamstring issues today. And 9-miler to round of a rounded-up 52 mile week. Feeling epic :) Perhaps it was the sunshine. I love running in the sun. :) :) :)

Jono.
Glad the hamstrings are okay fenners.

Jaberknit - I think I remember reader a fetchies blog about the Thames Path this time last year and them pulling out due to the muddy path - can't bloody remember who it was though.

read Fizz's blog - great stuff.

hope everyone else is well.

The weather forecasters got it spectacularly wrong and today turned out to be a pleasant sunny day. Todays 20 miler was 4 minutes quicker than the last one;

I stopped and had a little walk break at mile 13, otherwise I'm pretty pleased with it as a training run. Don't think I've ever been able to improve on the overall pace of a LSR - I just normally settle for what I'm doing or get slower.

right - time for sunday lunch which I'm going to eat sitting in my own filth (as I haven't had a shower yet)

Also I was thinking about Gobi today and a title for a book * Poo - the shame of a long distance runner* - I mean its for anyone who runs a long way.

Fizz has finished and beating her Quadzilla 2014 accumulated time by some margin yet to be calculated.

She's ran a consistent series and apart from day 2 when the wheels started to wobble has ran brilliantly.

Ron Burgundy also rammed home an amazing effort.
