Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I splashed out on the Park Tools stand. Got the tandem up on it, and it held it fine, front wheel on the ground.

This meant that after a bit of faffing, I spotted that the problem with the gears jumping was a stiff chain link. I didn't seem to be able to fix it, so replaced the chain, and will keep the old (not old) chain as a spare if I manage to free the stiff link.

It's a great stand, [USER 34630. It should last longer than the bike!

I have a trailer for the dog that hitches to the back of my road bike. Very easy, using one of these:

The rear axle comes off and goes back on through the hole at the bottom of the picture. Just tried to put it on my ebike and the axle spindle on the back wheel is too fat to go through the hole.

How can I attach the trailer to my ebike?

That sort of adaptor is basically designed for older bikes with "normal" axels (often the nut / bolt ones, or perhaps a bog standard QR spindle). I recognise it from my old trailer for the kids.

I think this site may be of help biketrailerplanet.com
