I am currently in the Scottish Borders where it snowed heavily on Friday. It is now raining and melting the snow quickly so this batch of snow may well have gone by the time the Spiners get into the Cheviots

I went over to Lothersdale and walked up Pin Haw with Tussock, our vizsla. We met around a dozen Spiners and walked a mild or so with Tim from Ambleside, who was going great on the full. Weather was "mixed" but the ground consistently saturated. Everyone we saw seemed to be going well

from our local mountain rescue team.
SPINE UPDATE: Greg is currently showing in eleventh place and has reached the 108 mile checkpoint at Hawes which is the end of both the Spine Challenger and Spine MRT challenge course. Strong winds; and snow with some blizzards; while still waterlogged underfoot has made for some pretty arduous ground to cover, still... only another 160 miles to go!
Come on Greg!!
