He used to have a very distinct way of saying 'I'm Alton Byrd' on some highlights programme. So distinct that back in the day one of our offices had an Alton Byrd game. Someone would initiate with an 'I'm Alton Byrd' mimicing it and point at someone who'd then have to say 'He's Alton Byrd' and point at someone else.
It would go round the office until someone was too engrossed in work/emails/porn/playing doom to notice they'd been pointed out, at which point they'd 'lost' and would pay a penance.
Yes it was that era - was it the first first person shooter? I remember the novel concept of a few of us from the floor rampaging around shooting stuff.
