Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

I'm doing that idly perusing races nearby on the race finder thing, and found the Dorking 10 miler. Word is it's hilly, but how hilly are we talking? Road races over 10k seem thin on the ground round these parts after May - I'd really like a decent HM and 10 miler. I know this may be like trying to buy a boater in November, but has anyone got any suggestions?

This probably isn't going to help, as it's not road, but the New Forest 10 miler is less than an hour away from Guildford (I'm assuming you live near there!) and everyone tells me that it's great. So maybe that?

HB, I ran that a couple of years ago - good call, it is nice and flat, just need to hope it's not too hot.

Thanks Kimmy - where are you based?

'like trying to buy a boater in November' is the poshest analogy I have ever heard. Just saying.

Midsummer Munro? It's hard, though, like finding a fez in Norway.

I don't think you're all getting this. ROAD races. I want PBs and I want them, well, now, but realistically a decent recovery time after Brighton and not too far away from where I live.

I managed to buy a boater in November, so I'm confident we can crack this one too.

Epsom 10 mile? It undulates though, challenging rather than difficult, like getting fitted for a Homburg at short notice.
