The first is a pub where in 1987 the murderer Colin Pitchfork was overheard boasting that he had avoided the city-wide DNA testing that was being carried out. He was the first person convicted using DNA evidence. The second P is Victoria Park, scene of Leicester Victoria parkrun Before that the hopes had been that Leicester's second parkrun would be at Spinney Hills Park The council wouldn't permit it as it's in a heavily built up area with parking in high demand already. They tried a few other parks before settling on Victoria. Next to Spinney Hills Park there are some villas with (I think) classical names. Also pencils Periwinkle And pugilists
