Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Many years ago some lovely Fetchie shared a recipe for skinny flapjack - oats, a jar of apple sauce and mashed banana, among other things. Does anybody have the recipe, remember it, know who shared it?? It was very nice and low fat and just what I am looking for once again.

So I made some skinny flapjack - but due to an error put 4x as much milk in as the recipe stated. I left it for a while for the oats to soak it up and cooked it and it was very nice. Without the milk, the oats would have been hard, I think. I have now amended the recipe to 1 280g jar of apple sauce and 1 large mashed banana, 1 cup of milk, 1 tsp of cinnamon and 1 tsp of vanilla and 2 cups of oats. I also added 1 cup of sultanas. Stir it up and let it stand then 18 minutes at 180C.

Got something to say?
