Didn’t spot princesszee at Grangemouth today, but I did briefly talk to SoaPM at the finish line and hung out with Haggis (top bloke) at the start. Hope everyone’s racing went to plan today!

Aw sorry I didn’t see you. Such a nice day for it! Missed a PB by 4 seconds but had a great run so who’s caring. (Plus I measured long so def got a PB in me)

I reckon you could justify a 5 second discount for the water obstacles, and claim that as a PB effort!

Oh yeah that’s true. I was tempted to just run right through but chose to go up and round and not soak everyone running next to me!

Yes, that was an interesting water hazard.. and up and down a muddy bank in race shoes with no grip. Worth a few seconds for sure

There were massive puddles in one of the parks, wider than the footpaths which meant we had to run up and down the embankment bit.

Post up from Alloa HM about deferrals/refunds: basically, both are offered and must be requested by Friday April 20th. Even though not required under the T&Cs, I think they have followed the best course of action as if they hadn't, a lot of people would not have signed up for next year. Mind you, it is made clear that if you ask for a refund you will be depriving children of Christmas presents. No word of how the HM/ triathlon will interface. facebook.com |
