Does anyone have any idea if the Wdinburgh to North Berwick 20 will take place next year?
Don’t fancy a spring marathon but could be tempted by the distance once I’ve done a March/April half.

If my memory serves me it did not happen in 2018. I hope it returns in 2019. Based on my 30k run in Budapest, I'd say 20 miles would be a good distance to race over

It is, I thought that they had mismeasured it and it was really 6km (my time certainly suggested that). It has a lot of variety.

That was interesting, hard, but a good course. Would recommend it, nice and varied.

its a a good course, one lap on the loch mostly on tarmac or trail. Tricky hill at about 4k

Parkrun Scotland 10th anniversary next Saturday at Pollok, intend on going (even though I will miss a 100th and a 200th of people I know at Falkirk, with accompanying cakes.) But sometimes hard choices need to be made

I hear that the Pollok course has got more difficult. I'm going to delay a visit until the 10th anniversary of it's 13th, and my first, run.

Hoping to make it to Pollok on Saturday, it kick-started the running journey for me back in 2010, for some reason I ran three weeks in a row then took a long break till the following year.
It was certainly a tough introduction to racing but didn't put me off much.
