Happy 10th Birthday Pollok and parkrun Scotland! Just over 10 years since my first parkrun (Time Trial) at Wimbledon Common, then Pollok (#2, not #1!).

Can't say parkrun kicked anything off for me, but it's been a fab part of the running scene and goes from strength to strength. :-) G

I'm in Fife for the fitba on saturday afternoon, so will endeavour to get to Loch Leven parkrun (have done St Andrews before and Kirkaldy seems soooo far away)

If i don't get up in time, it'll be Perth,

or Camperdown,

or Montrose

or Stonehaven!!!

(or maybe just aberdeen!)

Enjoyed Lochore, good fast course even with the wee inclines in the last mile. Handy having toilets open metres from the start with a cafe for post race👍🏻

Had an awful 3k OTG yesterday, weather wasn’t great but I didn’t get anywhere near training speeds at all. Felt lethargic and empty. Will try again in January!

Have entered the Babcock 10k’s for May next year, £33 for club runners (till the end of the month) is a decent price for 3 well ran 10k’s.

I enjoyed 3KOTG Iain, although it was that windy my cap blew off!

Will probably head back in January.

Ally, Sikh, from talking with club mates most were well down time wise this month, will be interesting to see how it scores on run britain handicap rating.

Hopefully lesswind in Jan and we can all see a better time then!
