It’s taken me just over 13 years, since 10 June 2010 when I did my first which remains my PB of 18:46. I’ll never beat that partly because it was set on the old course that was short, but mainly because I’ll never run that fast again. My proper PB is 19:06. I suppose I could deduct the 18 months of covid shutdown and say it’s been 11.5 years. I wonder if I’ll get my 500 shirt in 2025 at the age of 73? If I do I wonder what time I’ll run it in ?
