Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Might watch; as ever, won't be running.

One year, as the course was still visible a few days later, I gave it a go. Managed almost a lap.

Lol Dv. It is one of the easier courses! I mean, there isn't a massive puddle or bog, nor any one horrendous hill (numerous smaller ones). And only 10km for the chaps, when it used to be 12km. I'm all for gender equality when they make the races shorter for us! :-) G

I always love doing it as I get to see the winners on my 2nd lap as they lap me on the way to the finish, its a bucket list thing without a doubt, my aim is always to get on the 2nd last page of results (rather than the last page :)

if you haven't tried it before should definitely give it a go!

Two races entered today, the aforementioned Rattray Blair(on a par or maybe harder than the Path of Condie) & the Kirkie 12.5k. Done Kirkie a few times but it’s a good race & fairly handy.

The Kirkie course is no picnic either!

Kirkie was my last race before lockdown. I will not be running it thos year :-p Actually, I had trained pretty well last time for it, a few hill sessions: then on the day it was Storm Desmond! I was blawn aff the course twice - still, at least it was done afore the weather got really bad.

Last time I did it I was like a drowned rat, had to wade through puddles at some points.

I ran it in 2016 and helped break up the ice floe at the finish line. A group of us ran together shouting warnings when we spotted possible black ice on the course.
