The important consideration in a RNR is having 2 runners that can do 19.6 & 18.6 ( can't remember exact distances) in a half decent time. The way it works is that you predict your total time based on everyone's estimated time & add it together ( there is a spreadsheet on the site that calculates it for you). The aim is for everyone to finish at King's Lynn at 9.30am on Sunday morning. And your start time reflects this. So if you estimate you will do the 191 miles in 24hrs you start at 9.30 am. 30hrs 3.30am & so on. So it is a definite plus to have faster runners on the longer distances so you don't have to start too early as that will have the most impact.
