“Borscht mit smetana” was an early feature of my Russian lessons (Borscht with sour cream). Used as a noun to practice with rather than actually eating the stuff

Very pleased with tea tonight: stir fry noodles with marinated tofu, spring onions and peppers. Used a home grown chilli 🌶️
