Realizing that perhaps Director of Football is a better platform for the Gilet Monster, he attempts to return the once mighty Swindon Town to the Hoddle-esque glory days of the Premier League. 6 months later he is sacked for accidentally getting them relegated.

* If you count playing "nice" football but never actually winning anything as success
