Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

MA The 2020 cricket season begins today and the tide seems to be in at Trent Bridge

Never mind sourcing interesting clues, get to work on your close outs

Thank you all. I'd like to say I picked the clue with that in mind, but to my eternal shame it didn't occur to me until I realised Grep had given the last answer. It's wonderful how things just fall together, sometimes.

Morning, grey and drizzly at Den Dries.

Drizzle at the SSP, and not the lemon kind found on cake. Cricket teas prohibited, it seems.

MA, dry and sunny in the oil capital I think but someone has helpfully put a scaffold pole directly across the front of the camera so all I can see really is steel.

Drizzly with agressive swallows by the Test. Wouldn't it be a shame if the first day of the test match were rained off

Oh heck. I've got a great clue (ish) lined up but I got sidetracked by a thing. Three minutes please.

Any reasonable offer on the woman's name considered. The H is completely superfluous but it's in my source so I've left it.

Peter Frampton solos on nine instruments in barely tolerable performance by Wurzels and forces Sting to comply with a horrible setlist in Cardiff.
