Back from a bike ride and now on a sofa. I was hungry again so I made bacon, tomato and cheese toasties and had an early cup of tea. I'm going out for dinner tonight so hope that'll keep me going until then. The table's booked for 8 at Rick Stein's, Sandbanks. I might have to take out a mortgage to pay for my dinner.

Half term was this week in my neck of the woods. They go back on Monday. Well, I suppose they do.

Hp and Columba I think most counties are earlier, Lancashire has a late half term (or at least West lancs does) its from ancient times, shame because E 5.1's friend who lives 15 mins away across the the border is just finishing half term, as do all her old friends from our old house. Great because anything we want to do next week will be quieter if we go to a different county, and we're on the border so that's not really an issue
