The story so far. I received my Lumie. Love it. Love it to bits. Unfortunately the display on the front packed up after about ten days. A new unit is being sent to me with a bag to send the old one back in.
Notwithstanding it shouldn't have broken, can't fault the customer service.

It appears we have had ours for too long now and no longer leap out of bed refreshed as if it was spring itself that had awoken us. 10+ years of it will have you pretending you're not awake so that you don't have to be the one who stumbles out of bed to turn the alarm off.

The lady at Lumie that answered the phone was a real human being who felt with me straight away. It had the bizarre feeling I was phoning a tiny tiny tiny company.
I like that very much - especially if the new one works.
You have a 10yo Lumie, Mulbo? Gosh let's hope mine lasts that long.

My Lumie is about 8 years old so you must have just been very unlucky I think!

GREAT NEWS GUYS. I my Lumie - it just seems daft needing an alarm clock next to it on my bedside table.
